Out for a walk, very muddy, deer scared Becs, Dan laughed, more mud, lots of fun!
We went out for a walk today in Chalbury. It was a lovely long 4.5 mile walk along old tracks, passed dilapitated barns and through very muddy fields.
We generally use a walking guide to do our walks unless we’ve walked it before or we’re winging it. We find it most annoying that when you get kitted up, set out, get on nicely through the walk to only find that your lovely stroll has got you knee deep in mud and navigating bridges which only just about take one lightish person at a time before plunging you into the coldness of winter river!
I think a health warning at the beginning of the walk such as “very muddy in winter” or “bring your galloshes” is in order for that kind of walk
Needless to say we had fun, we’re clean again and must remember that worn out trainers really aren’t suitable footware for rambling! Anyone willing to donate a pair of size 6’s and size 8’s?
Oh and before we forget, its Danny’s birthday on wednesday… hint hint!
Keep it real folks!
