Happy Christmas everyone. We hope you have all already had a lovely relaxing time and that for those returning to work it hasn’t been too hard or too stressful!

We had a lovely time on christmas day with Dan’s parents and Grandma. Mandy and Dave were with us too and so was Bec’s mum, Linda.

We always go to the morning church service at our baptist church on christmas day morning. We had a lovely short service, reminding us of the real reason behind christmas. We then headed to my folks for a champagne toast and some nibbles. Had a lovely lunch (crab cakes cooked by my wonderful wife!) and then began the present marathon! We all had some wonderful presents and can’t thank people enough for their generosity. A particular favourite of mine is a national geographic photography book which Becs bought me. It contains hundreds of amazing photographs which aren’t always the most breathtaking for the quality of the photo but much more for the story it tells!

Yesterday we chilled and went for a lovely walk in freeland with the dogs. We ate some more of the left overs from christmas day and watched “The Terminal” with Tom Hanks!

Lucky me, I am off work until 2nd Jan. Becs is back today so I shall have a quietish day today. Might 5S my shed! More on that in a later blog me thinks!
