We’ve just had our 34 week check up with the midwife and all continues to be well both with me and the baby. Baby is now head down and is 4/5 engaged and is lying in the optimal position for labour. Hopefully that doesn’t mean she’s coming quite yet (I would feel quite cheated if I couldn’t do the ‘heavily’ pregnant thing of watching my favourite TV shows and doing some reading at the start of my maternity leave!!) but it does mean that she’s getting ready to be born - very exciting! Now that she’s dropped it also means that my heartburn has gotten less - yippee!! I know that this pregnancy thing isn’t an exact science, but we’ve got approximately 5 weeks and 3 days before she’s due! Watch this space and we will keep you updated!
