Marmalade Jam has still not arrived yet! She and Becs appear very well with blood pressure, heart beat and all other things remaining very normal. But still no baby. We’re now 5 days overdue and we’re all getting a little bit impatient. Up until the due date I was really excited in anticipation, really looking forward to the date. Then the date came and went and now I’m not sure if this exciting event is ever going to happen at all! It’s like waiting for Christmas, you get to Christmas day and then someone taps you on the shoulder and says “well actually, you’re going to have to wait a few more days yet until you can actually celebrate Christmas”. I mean, how cruel would that be?

What is making things slightly worse for me is that I haven’t planned to be at work this week so my diary has been purposely kept blank. That means that although I have lots to do, its stuff I wasn’t actually thinking I’d be doing and it’s just all very weird.

Well, we’re going for a big stomp tonight, I’ve instructed Becs to add extra chili into the Balti she is cooking and we’re going to be running up and down the stairs this evening!

We live in hope!
