Still no baby I’m afraid, but I have just seen the midwife and both baby and I are still absolutely fine which is the main thing.
Baby is now fully engaged and in theory could arrive at any moment, but in practice I think she’s decided that she’s really not too keen on the summer we’re having and is quite happy where she is!
I have now been booked in to be induced on Saturday which means going into hospital on Friday afternoon. We’re feeling very peaceful about it all and relieved to know that our baby will be here by Sunday at the very latest! Hopefully I will go into labour before that, but if not, the end is in sight and we can meet our little girl! So, there will be some more news soon….

I was wrong with my guess!! Although I’m hoping it happens before Sat, as very selfishly I’ll be out of contact in Russia and will spend the whole holiday wondering if she made it ok. Or if you’ve actually turned into an elephant!!
Mum says she knows how you feel as apparently I hung around 15 days before putting in an appearance. Apparently she will come out in the end….

They do come out eventually - it’s the waiting that’s always the hardest bit.
