Probably the best thing about joining up and going to ante-natal classes is the people you meet there.
Becs and I signed up with the NCT programme and went along to 6 sessions. We were expecting to learn lots that would help us prepare for labour and the months after. We learned loads and loads but what we certainly did not expect was the great friends we would make from it.
Ages ago, on our last evening together back in June we all put a date in our diary for a small reunion. Life went on fast forward and before we knew it we all had turned our bumps into babies and were enjoying a BBQ in the late summer sun!

I second the praise of the NCT classes. The best £120 we spent during pregnancy!!

I know! She was awake for the majority of the party though! She’s just so floppy when she’s flat out - the head hold does look a bit cruel though doesn’t it!!
