Becs and I had the pleasure of spending Christmas in Wales with our family and what a treat it was for me as a hobby photographer. The weather was mainly poor the whole time we were there until the last two days when the wind changed and the sky cleared up. I went out twice to photograph Llandanwg beach at sunset and managed to capture a few great shots. My favourite is above. Clickon the photo to see the others.
Photographing beaches comes with a health warning though so watch out if you try it yourself. I was on some rocks capturing these shots and had to keep a close eye on the incoming tide. Before i new it, I had to grab my kit and head back in land a few metres to prevent myself getting stranded and subsequently very wet! Always plan your escape route before you’re forced to find one. It’s much safer that way.
Oh, and by the way, a belated and very merry Christmas to everyone. We hope you have had a lovely time and are all well and healthy. We certainly are.
Dan

The Llandanwg shots are fantastic. You’ll be giving Newbold a run for his money, just knock out a few postards… Seriously the shots are very good. I like.

Wow, Dan, that photo is beautiful!
Gutted to have missed you this week, that was such bad planning on our part! So think instead you should all come over and visit Brussels, introduce Hannah to the capital of Europe
