This weekend was meant to be our first camping trip with Hannah - we had our tent, our chairs (including a little one for Hannah), our duvet (we’ve never got on with sleeping bags) and the case was just about packed… and then we saw the forecast - not just a few showers, but torrential rain! We ummmed and arghhhed (in conjunction with Dan’s parents and sister & brother in law with whom we were sharing the experience) and we decided to have a big sleep over at Graham and Ria’s instead! Wise decision! Although we have had some lovely weather this weekend, the rain has been heavy and a very wriggly 11 month old in a damp tent would not have filled my heart with glee! As it was we have had a wonderful weekend - lots of food, too much wine and plenty of Hannah worship!
