Well! What a day! We are all totally exhausted, but for all the right reasons! Today was the NCT babes joint 1st birthday party and fun was had by all. Although Hannah hasn’t quite reached the big 1 yet, 5 out of the 7 babes have and Hughie and Hannah celebrated early!
We were all reflecting today on how amazing the last year has been - in some ways it has just gone so quickly. It only seems like seconds ago that we were all meeting together with our new bundles and our labour stories, but in other ways, none of us can imagine life without them - or what a lie in is!!
Many things have changed - including the ease by which we can photograph them all together (as you will see from one or two of the photographs - click on the picture of the cake to see the gallery of photos!) - but something that hasn’t, is the strong bond that’s between all of the NCT families and we’re very much looking forward to many more parties like the one today! And to the time when the ‘babes’ don’t want to celebrate with us anymore and all the mums and dads can meet in the pub!
A big Thank You to Ellie and Tim for hosting and to Tim’s mum for the amazing cake!

Wow, the day seemed like fun. We hope that we can continue with our NCT friends in the same way. We have you to thank for that, as we would probably never have entered into it without your very high regard for the course.
Pictures are brilliant and do you think Tim’s mum could take up catering. That cake is amazing. Hope you’re all ok and Becs got a quick glimpse of the new hair do and it’s really lovely! Loads of love Lou and Dave x
